LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE IN 3 MONTHS (3 TIPS)

Learning a new language in the three months? Not saying it can’t be done, it just requires a lot of time, effort, commitment and work.

Enough with the chitchat, you’ve got a language to learn and not much time to do it. Before we get into that, there are four core skills involved in language speaking: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

I’ve got a few tips to help you make it happen. Let’s take a look at them:

SET SMART GOALS

What are SMART goals? A smart goal is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely. Formating a plan using smart goals is an almost fail-proof method for learning anything. If you’ve already done that – three month is a time goal.

ASSEMBLE MATERIALS THAT FACILITATE THE WAY YOU LEARN

We all learn differently. Most of us work to learn, some work harder than others, but we each have a style that best suits our learning personality. You could use a textbook, a dictionary is essential and also, journal for new words.

PRACTICE

Practice makes perfect. This sounds so simple it’s almost a “non-tip”. But think about it, if you don’t practice you won’t improve. So the importance of this step can’t be stressed enough. As you learn, your pronunciation will improve.
